Real Estate Marketing Expert

As the Real Estate Marketing Expert for Crain Homes, you’ll be the voice behind our social media, crafting daily Instagram posts and stories that actually resonate—and yes, you’ll get to dabble in Facebook and Instagram ads to give our reach that extra glow. Right alongside that, you’ll steer the marketing calendar, making sure every campaign—from birthdays to big company moments—flows effortlessly. Your Canva skills will keep our template library chic and polished, giving agents everything they need to look sharp. You’ll also be the go-to for website content updates, newsletters, and keeping our CRM in good shape.

DAY-TO-DAY

  • Marketing calendar: The primary responsibility for this role will fall within the area of organizing and planning for daily communication around the brokerage. This includes things like:
    • Managing the marketing calendar: Fulfill print and digital campaigns, build out a ‘25 marketing calendar, and provide annual budgets for review. 
    • Draft and plan content for all important dates, including company birthdays, anniversaries and other tentpole moments for the company.
  • Daily social media activity: This mainly involves using Instagram, while occasionally engaging on LinkedIn. Usually this is 1 post every morning and a few click-through stories.
    • Having experience in managing Facebook and Instagram ads would be beneficial for this role.
  • Maintain a library of curated templates: Marketing assets, brand/agent collateral, and digital designs are maintained and expanded in our Canva dashboard, which serves as a central hub for most agent marketing materials.
  • Website management: Understand basic web development skills for small troubleshooting questions and requests related to our agent’s main CRM tool.
    • Guide our agents with website and CRM related inquiries to streamline client management and enhance their outreach efforts.
  • Print and digital design: Create and submit monthly and quarterly brokerage advertisements while adhering to industry regulations and maintaining brokerage brand standards. We appreciate a keen eye for detail and a collaborative approach to feedback and revisions.
  • Agent development: Empower our agents by providing actionable tips, tricks, and resources to help them market themselves effectively. Host biannual marketing workshops to boost their knowledge and skills in building personal brands.

 

SKILL + RESPONSIBILITY

  • Social media - Create, schedule, collaborate with the team, and manage engaging content across all platforms to grow our online presence and connect with the community. 
  • A proactive problem solver – Maintain strong attention to detail and stay ahead of deadlines.
  • An understanding of budget management – Maximize resources and ensure every marketing dollar is effectively allocated. Able to create a workflow with our accountant for efficient reporting. 
  • Proficiency in design tools – Use Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, social publishing tools, and email marketing software effectively. 
  • Tech savvy – Someone who can teach help coach our agents on the latest in social media and other digital channels.
  • Real Estate experience – Candidates with an active real estate license or those interested in obtaining one are encouraged to apply. A background in the industry, while not mandatory, would be advantageous in understanding and effectively marketing our services.
